“The Picture of Dorian Gray” is a novel by the famous English writer and playwright Oscar Wilde, which caused heated debate during the author's lifetime. The main character of the novel, Dorian Gray, an incredibly handsome young aristocrat, found a way to preserve his beauty forever. He ordered a brilliant artist to make his magical portrait. This portrait was supposed to age instead of Dorian, and Dorian would remain young and beautiful. To get this portrait, Dorian sold his soul, but he did not imagine what consequences this deal would lead to.
