It is a warm and sunny day. Maria and her family are going to the beach. They get in the car and drive to the seaside. Maria is very excited. She loves the beach!
When they arrive, Maria sees the blue sea and the white sand. The sound of the waves is relaxing. She takes off her shoes and feels the soft sand under her feet. It’s warm and nice.
Maria’s little brother, Jack, runs to the water. He wants to swim, but Maria tells him to wait. First, they need to put on sunscreen. They don't want to get sunburned. Maria’s mom helps them put on sunscreen. They all wear hats and sunglasses.
After the sunscreen is on, they go to the water. The waves are not too big, and Maria feels safe. Jack laughs and splashes in the water. Maria enjoys the cool water, but she stays close to her family.
Later, they sit on a towel and have a picnic. They eat sandwiches, fruits, and drink cold lemonade. It’s delicious! After lunch, Maria and Jack play in the sand. They build a big sandcastle. They use a bucket and a shovel.
The sun is high in the sky, and it gets very hot. Maria’s mom says it’s time to go home. They pack their things and walk back to the car. Maria feels happy and relaxed. It was a perfect day at the beach.
