This is the first Woolf’s work that I have read, and I can say, it is a manifestation of literary feminists. Woolf possesses a masculine literary style - straightforward and matter-of-fact. Many of her ideas proved to be eye-opening for me. It is interesting, that the book has been written less than a century ago - which means that women enjoy literary freedom for a very brief period of time . Overall, the impression from the book is positive, although I simply didn’t grasp a several allusions and speculations.
