Once upon a time, there was a kind and gentle girl named Cinderella.

She lived with her father, her stepmother, and her two stepsisters.

Her own mother had died when she was very young, and her father had married again, hoping to give her a new family.

But the stepmother was proud, selfish, and cold-hearted, and her daughters were spoiled and unkind.
