THE PHONETICS

(некоторые звуки)

A (apple) -челюсть отвисает до пола. Язык лежит распластавшись и расслаблен. Чего вы пристали? Я отдыхаю. Улыбаемся слегка напряженно.

S — (stand) — кончик языка у бугорков (альвеол) за верхними зубами и с силой проталкиваем воздух).

Z — (zoo) — похоже на «s», но со звуком.

М (mouse) — губы поджимаем обиженно, они напряжены больше, чем в русском языке, а потом, резко размыкаем, с придыханием и звуком, звук больше у зубов, а не в глубине, как в русском).

N — (name) — кончик губах на бугорках (альвеолах) у верхних зубов, рот приоткрыт, размыкаем со звуком).

F (frog) — обиженно поджали губки, потом, резко разомкнули с голосом и придыханием, звук, придыхание «на губах»).

V (very) — губки так же, как и для звука «f», но, добавляем звучание.

P — (pound) — губки сомкнуты, обиженно поджаты, резко, «взрывообразно» размыкаем с придыханием «на губах».

B — (bound) — то, же, что и звук «p», но произносим со звуком.

Th (that) — произносится с языком зажатым между зубами, лежит широко, с краями приподнятыми, жужжим).

Th (thought) — язык расположен так-же, но не жужжим, а сипим, словно змейка).

H (house) — выдыхаем легко и беззвучно. Свечку задувать не надо!

I: (долгое) (deep) — язык напряжен, звук направлен вверх, и…, улыбайтесь, улыбайтесь напряженно).

I — (big) — краткое, не напрягаем ничего: ни язык, ни губы, звук направлен вниз).

D — (doll) кончик языка на бугорках у верхних зубов, резко убираем с придыханием и звуком).

T — (tall) то же положение языка и губ, мимика, что и при «d», но, добавляем звук.

G (gangster) — звук задерживается, «застревает» в горле (glottal stops,) язык задней спинкой упирается в верхнее небо, а потом слегка размыкается, с придыханием и звуком, передняя часть языка на бугорках, альвеолах, у нижних зубов).

K — (crab) — похоже на «g», но, без звука.

W — губки трубочка, потом резко размыкаем, переходя к следующему звуку.

BEAR AND HARE

Once, a bear walks through the forest. Bear stomps to the edge of the wood. There, at the edge, raspberries grew, ripened: red, sweet, fragrant. Bear sniffles, waddles from paw to paw. Serves then right (так им и надо)!

Learn (научись) to clean up (убирать) after (за) yourself (собой)! After all (в конце концов), the forest (лес), Nature (Природа), this (это) is not (не) a garbage (мусорная) dump (свалка)!

HOW ANIMALS PUNISHED SLOPPY TOURISTS

— These are tourists, mushroom pickers, which came to the forest. They rested, gathered mushroom berries. And they left all their garbage in the forest.

Hares put a sheet of plantain on the wounded leg of a friend, wrapped it round with linden bark to stop the blood. But, apparently, the hare was hurt very much. Plantain didn’t help him.

— We must take the hare to the doctor.

They picked up their friend by the arms. And they went to the oak on which the doctor lived. There he has a forest clinic.

Hares go, and their wounded comrade, between them, on one, healthy, hind paw, jumps.

Hares came to the oak. And around it, already, a lot of forest inhabitants gathered.

There is a wolf, a bear, a badger, a fox, and two small hedgehogs. And everyone’s paw is bandaged.

— It’s all about the garbage left by people. — The forest residents complain.
