На методическое пособие по английскому языку Г. В. Ботерашвили
«HAPPY ABC in USE»

Актуальность и практическая значимость пособия «HAPPY ABC in USE» не подлежит сомнению, так как в настоящее время ощущается большая потребность в учебно-методической литературе по английскому языку. Изучающие английский язык имеют возможность выбирать из существующего учебного материала те учебники и пособия, которые сочтут наиболее подходящими и привлекательными для совершенствования навыков общения на иностранном языке. Наличие рынка учебников, как отечественных, так и зарубежных, предоставляет эту возможность — самому выбирать основное средство для самообразования, а учителям — средство обучения для своих учеников. Данное методическое пособие — ресурсное средство и оно может быть дополнено педагогом. Вместе с тем учитель сможет познакомиться с теми приёмами и методами, которые помогут ему успешнее преподавать иностранный язык учащимся.

Рецензируемое учебное пособие следует всем положительным тенденциям в отечественной и зарубежной методике обучения иностранным языкам, а именно способствовать внедрению нового, что в конечном итоге предполагает, с одной стороны, сочетание системности и функциональности, с другой — сочетание образовательных, воспитательных, развивающих функций обучения с прагматическими.

Пособие отличают стройность и логичность предъявления материала, строгая продуманность и доказательность приводимых заданий и типов упражнений. Новизна данной работы состоит в том, что пособий такого типа, объема и тщательности анализа материала, посвященного методическим аспектам преподавания, на настоящем этапе нет. Огромный интерес представляет перечень упражнений, которые можно использовать при обучении аспектам и видам речевой деятельности. Читая это пособие, понимаешь, что методика преподавания иностранных языков накопила огромный опыт, и автору работы удалось этот опыт не только обобщить, но развить. Следует также особо отметить, что методический аппарат комплексно предъявляемого материала детально разработан.

Реализация поставленных в пособии целей:

— окажет содействие будущим учителям в совершенствовании методики

— будет способствовать повышению профессиональной компетенции учителей

— поможет учащимся совершенствовать свои знания в области английского языка.

Содержание учебного пособия соответствует Государственному образовательному стандарту филологического направления обучения а также всем соответствующим европейским стандартам.

Ботерашвили Галина Викторовна. Старший преподаватель кафедры иностранных языков Ярославского государственного медицинского университета. Окончила факультет романо-германской филологии ИвГУ.

Прошла более 15 курсов повышения квалификации среди которых «Дидактика высшей школы» Макса Веблера в ЯГПУ им. К.Д.Ушинского, на кафедре иностранных языков и регионоведения МГУ им. М. В. Ломоносова (НОПриЛ) по программе «Эффективное преподавание устного и письменного перевода в современном вузе». Являюсь региональным представителем Союза переводчиков России, а так же внутренним аудитором и менеджером СМК ISO 9001 ЯГМУ.

За многие годы работы я пришла к выводу, что при желании правильно выразить свои мысли важным аспектом является знание лексики. Опыт работы подсказал, как в увлекательной форме зажечь в ученике желание учиться и расширять свой кругозор.
