ПРЕДИСЛОВИЕ
Настоящее учебное пособие адресовано студентам младших курсов бакалавриата, обучающимся на Факультете управления и политики МГИМО (У) МИД России, а также абитуриентам, готовящимся к сдаче ЕГЭ по английскому языку и прохождению дополнительного вступительного испытания (ДВИ). Целью данного пособия является формирование и развитие у студентов и абитуриентов базовых умений грамматически правильного оформления высказывания на английском языке, в частности, грамматических навыков употребления видовременных форм английского глагола и способов выражения модальности в языке, а также английских предлогов.
Задания, предложенные в пособии, могут использоваться в процессе обучения английскому языку совместно с другими пособиями и учебниками уровня В1, направленными на формирование речевой, социальной, социолингвистической, дискурсивной и других составляющих иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции.
Текстовый корпус учебного пособия представляет собой аутентичные материалы информационного, повествовательного и описательного характера, культуроведческой и научно-популярной направленности, заимствованные из свободных электронных ресурсов и адаптированные для учебных целей.
Пособие состоит из двух частей. Первая часть содержит 178 заданий (sets), каждое из которых включает ситуации или текст, в которых обучающиеся должны определить правильную личную или неличную форму глагола в скобках. Вторая часть содержит 86 заданий (sets), в каждом из которых обучающиеся должны заполнить пропуски в ситуациях или тексте соответствующими предлогами или наречиями.
Будучи дополнительным материалом к основному курсу обучения английскому языку, предлагаемые задания используются в зависимости от дидактических целей, решаемых в конкретной группе обучающихся, и могут представлять собой как цикл упражнений для аудиторных занятий, так и составлять самостоятельную работу студентов младших курсов бакалавриата и абитуриентов, готовящихся к сдаче ЕГЭ по английскому языку и прохождению ДВИ. Выполнение упражнений может осуществляться как на электронных платформах, так и в письменном виде. Такое использование предполагает либо полную автономность обучающихся, получающих возможность самостоятельно узнать правильный ответ при условии размещения заданий на обучающих платформах, либо проверку выполненных заданий в аудитории с последующим анализом ошибок преподавателем.
Учебное пособие разработано и апробировано на кафедре английского языка № 6 МГИМО (У) МИД России.
