Pizza Margherita
To prepare Italian Margherita pizza you will need the following ingredients:
Pizza dough
1 large tomato
150 g hard cheese (e.g. mozzarella)
Fresh basil
Olive oil
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
So, let’s start by preparing the pizza dough. You can use ready-made dough from the store or make your own. After this, preheat the oven to 220°C.
The next step is to grate the tomato on a coarse grater to obtain tomato puree. Also grate the cheese on the same grater.
Roll out the dough onto a flat surface and place it on a baking sheet that has been previously floured or drained. Brush the dough with tomato puree, then sprinkle it with grated cheese.
