When Leo moved to a new school, he hoped he would get along with his classmates. On the first day, he noticed that many students already had close friends. For a moment, he felt left out and unsure of himself.
During a group activity in English class, Leo discovered that he had something in common with two boys in his group. They all enjoyed playing basketball and watching the same films. The conversation became easier, and Leo started to relax.
At lunch, he saw the same boys sitting together. Instead of sitting alone, he decided to join in. They talked about their favourite teams and weekend plans. Leo realised that making friends sometimes begins with a small step.
By the end of the week, Leo felt more confident. He understood that if you try to join in and look for things you have in common, it becomes easier to get along with others.
