Предисловие

Этот учебник предназначен для систематического изучения английского языка учащимися средней школы на уровне A2–B1. Он построен так, чтобы каждый урок был самостоятельной единицей, включающей ключевую лексику, текст для чтения и разнообразные упражнения для закрепления материала.

Для эффективного использования книги рекомендуется начинать с раздела Word Power, где представлены основные слова и выражения с объяснением на русском языке и примерами употребления. Затем следует внимательно прочитать текст Reading Text, обращая внимание на новые слова и выражения, которые повторяются несколько раз для лучшего запоминания.

После чтения важно выполнять задания из разделов Check Your Understanding и Build Your Vocabulary, чтобы проверить понимание текста и закрепить лексику. Развёрнутый Answer Key в конце каждой главы позволяет самостоятельно оценить результаты или получить обратную связь от учителя.

Учебник можно использовать как для индивидуальной работы, так и в классе. Последовательное выполнение всех элементов главы формирует навыки чтения, письма, расширяет словарный запас и развивает способность использовать язык в реальных ситуациях.

My Daily Routine

Word Power

Every day, my routine is quite simple. I usually get up at 7 a.m. My first activity is to wash my face and brush my teeth. Then I have breakfast, usually cereal and juice. After breakfast, I put on my school uniform and go to school.

At school, I study different subjects like English, Maths, and Science. I try to pay attention in every class. After school, I come back home and relax for a while. Then I do my homework, sometimes with the help of my parents.

In the evening, I often spend time with my family or watch TV. Dinner is always at 7 p.m., and we talk about our day. After dinner, I may read a book or listen to music. Finally, I go to bed at 10 p.m.

My routine is simple, but it helps me stay organized. I like my daily schedule because I always know what I need to do. Sometimes I change small things, but the main activities — getting up, having breakfast, doing homework, and going to bed — are always the same.
